Lakusana is one of the latest addition to our events. Introduced in March 2019, is to create awareness and give solutions through educational programs that are tailor made to suite interests of various focus groups within one island.
The very first program of ‘Lakusana’ was conducted in R. Meedhoo from 7th to 9th March 2019.
OBJECTIVES
Support Institutions, local clubs and organizations recognizing their importance to the community’s quality of life. Encourage partnerships and conversation between Institutions, local clubs and organizations in order to leverage resources. To interact responsibly and constructively, and to engage with ideas and perspectives that are different to their own. To make the people aware of communal issues and to build a resilient Community.
FACILITATORS
The programs will be facilitated by well-known professionals in their respective fields. All the programs will be designed and delivered within the Islamic Principles.
THE FOCUS GROUPS
The population will be segmented into different focus groups and a special program relevant and tailor made to that particular focus group will be delivered using presentations, activities and open discussions. Eg; an SME management workshop for small businesses.
THE DELIVERABLES
A pre-event visit will be done and a need analysis will be carried out to know more about the focus groups. This study will help us to design the programs based on the need of the focus groups.
